Destiny Agubata, a four-star G from the 2024 class, signed her National Letter of Intent with West Virginia on Wednesday. Agubata becomes WVU’s second signee, joining 2024 four-star center Jordan Thomas.

“I chose to further my basketball and academic career at WVU because they offered a wealth of resources, a highly skilled coaching staff, a top-notch engineering program and a comprehensive support system,” Agubata said. “The total package provides the ideal environment for my development both as an athlete and a student. I am looking forward to playing for the best fans in the country!”

Agubata, a 5-foot-11 guard, currently plays at Santiago High School in Moreno Valley, Ca. Agubata is the No. 98 recruit in the country and is considered a top 100 player by ESPN. Agubata is averaging 19 points, 11 rebounds and four assists early into her senior season.
