“The postponements are in response to Baylor being unable to meet the required COVID-19 thresholds, as established by the Big 12 conference,” WVU athletics said in a statement.
WVU and Baylor were scheduled to play one another twice next week, in Morgantown on Feb. 15 and at Baylor on Feb. 18. The game on the 18th was a game that had already been rescheduled from Jan. 12, when WVU paused due to COVID.
The Big 12 will work with the two schools to reschedule the games, according to the release.
