2024 DB Commits to WVU Football Program

The WVU football program can now add a win in recruiting to the winning the Mountaineers have been doing on the field.
Keyon Washington, a class of 2024 defensive back prospect out of Saint Charles, High School in Waldorf, Maryland, announced his commitment to West Virginia Monday afternoon. Washington picked WVU over an offer from Boston College and other smaller programs.

After initially visiting Morgantown in June, Washington was also back on campus during the weekend of the Backyard Brawl. The atmosphere on that winning weekend helped convince Washington to want to become a future Mountaineer.
Washington is listed at 6-foot and 175 pounds and is so locked in that he claims he’s now “1,000%” committed, according to his post with the news.
