2025 4-Star LB Target Dayshaun Burnett Made Another Visit to West Virginia

One of the top players in Pennsylvania in the 2025 recruiting class made another visit to WVU this past weekend.

Dayshaun Burnett, a four-star linebacker out of Imani Christian Academy in Pittsburgh, tweeted a thank you message to the West Virginia program after spending time in Morgantown for Junior Day.

The Mountaineers have made their interest in Burnett known for awhile now. He was extended an offer in August and then made his first trip to WVU in early September.

Listed at 6’3”, 207 pounds, Burnett is ranked as the number two linebacker recruit from his class in the state of Pennsylvania and the number nine player by Rivals. He’s viewed as an outside linebacker.

In addition to his constant communication with the WVU program, Pitt has also been making a big push for Burnett and many national outlets predict he will eventually commit to staying home in Pittsburgh with the Panthers. Besides both sides of the Backyard Brawl, Akron, Massachusetts, Michigan State and Penn State have made offers to Burnett.
