WVU Football RB commit Jett Walker

A recent visit turns into a commitment for the WVU football staff, namely running backs coach Larry Porter. West Virginia can now add three-star running back Jett Walker to their list of 2026 commits.

Walker (6-foot-2, 210 pounds) announced his commitment on Wednesday a few days after spending time around the staff and current team during spring practice.

Rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, Walker is preparing for his final season of high school football in the fall at Georgetown High School in Georgetown, Texas.

Walker, who has almost 20 Division I offers, received an offer from Rich Rodriguez’s WVU staff in early February. More recently, Houston tried to lock him up as well during his visit with the Cougars on March 21.

Bowling Green, Charlotte, Marshall, Navy, New Mexico State, Ohio, Rice, San Diego State, Tulsa, UNLV, UTEP and UTSA are just some of the other schools who have bern pursing Walker.
