In the Holler: WVU Football 2026 RB Commit Jett Walker on Why West Virginia

After a recent visit turned into a commitment for the WVU football staff, WV Sports Now caught up with the Texas running back eager to play for Rich Rodriguez, Larry Porter and the rest of the West Virginia coaching staff.

Jett Walker (6-foot-2, 210 pounds) announced his commitment on Wednesday a few days after spending time around the staff and current team during spring practice.

He then told WVSN about what the WVU coaches have said to him and what helped convince him to lock in his commitment.
