A Georgia tight end committed to join the WVU football program on Sunday.

Luke Kinder, listed at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, made his announcement on social media on Sunday.

“First off, I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love and at the level I’m playing it at. Without Him this wouldn’t be possible. I’d also like to thank my family, coaches, friends, and teammates for supporting me through this journey. With that being said I’m fired up to announce that I will be committing to West Virginia University! I’m home! Go Mountaineers!,” posted Kinder.

He picked West Virginia over Cincinnati, East Carolina, Memphis, Coastal Carolina, Charlotte, Army, Navy, Troy, Liberty, Western Kentucky, UAB, Georgia State, Delaware Kennesaw State, Austin Peay and Mercer.

Kinder is considered a three-star prospect. He also plays high school baseball.
