Douglas, in his seventh season as an NFL cornerback, will extend his time in Green Bay three additional years with the new deal. He joined head coach Matt LaFleur’s team in 2021, before which time he bounced around to the Cardinals, Texans, and Raiders. Douglas was drafted in 2017 right out of WVU head coach Dana Holgorsen’s program and into the Philadelphia Eagles organization, where he spent the first three seasons of his career and won a Super Bowl. This stint with the Packers will be the longest-term stay for Douglas, and can vary in pay-out between $21 and $25.5 million.
In 2021, Douglas became a crucial part of the Packers’ secondary, nabbing five interceptions, including two pick-sixes, and a forced fumble.
