Baltimore Offensive Tackle Visiting this Weekend on Junior Day

Published

Offensive line coach Joe Wickline headed east and found an athletic offensive tackle in Zachary Franks from Baltimore, Maryland.  The 6’6” 285-lb tackle doesn’t have an offer from the Mountaineers at this time but is visiting Morgantown this Saturday for junior day.

“I’m not really familiar with the WVU offense.  I’m looking forward to the visit coming up, so I can learn more about it and talk with coach Wickline about how my game fits” said Franks.

Franks has great footwork in his pass protection and with his athleticism he can cut off the defensive on the outside.  He has good drive on defensive linemen in the running game and the agility to get to the linebacker to create a path for his running back.

Franks currently holds an offer from Temple, but that could change this weekend, after his visit in Morgantown.  He is also being targeted by Virginia Tech, Maryland, North Carolina and Wake Forest, to name a few.

This is a recruit to keep your eye on over the weekend to see if he does get an offer.
