West Virginia offers an Offensive Lineman from Georgia

West Virginia University football coaches are back in Georgia, which figures to be a hot spot for the Mountaineers. WVU has offered 6’2″ 305-pound offensive lineman Jakai Clark of Grayson High School.

Jakai has plenty to offer and I think he will be heating up soon. He is a class of 2019 target and a position of need for WVU. He’s quick off the ball, has good strength and footwork. What sticks out the most to me is his ability to read the defense.

He calls his WVU offer a blessing, although he dosent know a lot about them right now, he wants to build a strong bond and find out more from the coaches. Jakai molds his game around Isaiah Wynn, saying he is really where he wants to be when it comes to finishing blocks, and dominating the defensive line. One player that sticks out to him from WVU is Yodny Cajuste.

Jakai wouldnt mind playing center, guard or defensive tackle, saying the Mountaineers want him at the center position. He will start choosing top schools this upcoming spring, and will commit sometime in August. What matters the most to him is being comfortable with the situation he is in. He wants to know if he needs something or is ever going through something that someone will be there for him. Especially, if he is far away from home, so his parents dont have to worry about him.
