WVU Football Mountaineers against Oklahoma Sooners

After a first half of a season filled with so many prime-time games, early kickoffs are now becoming the norm for the Mountaineers.

The Big 12 has announced that WVU’s next home game against Oklahoma on Nov. 12 will take place at noon or 12 pm EST. This game will be televised on FS1.

WVU currently has a 3-5 record and a 1-4 mark in conference play entering a Week 10 trip to Ames, Iowa to take on Iowa State. West Virginia is coming off a 41-31 loss to TCU. The Sooners, a program used to contending nationally on an annual basis, are in the midst of one of their least successful seasons in two decades. Oklahoma sits at 5-3 and 2-3 against Big 12 opponents. This has included multiple defeats of more than 25 points, highlighted by a 49-0 loss to rival Texas.

No matter what’s happening this season, Mountaineer Nation surely wants to see their team claim a win over Oklahoma before they leave the conference for the SEC. WVU has never been able to beat OU since joining the Big 12 in 2012.
