While WVU is 3-2 (2-0, Big 12) heading into a matchup with Iowa State on Saturday, Kansas State is ranked No. 18 and sits at 4-1 (1-1, Big 12) and has Colorado on the road as their next opponent.
West Virginia is coming off a dominating performance in a big win over Oklahoma State, but oddsmakers suggest the WVU Big 12 win streak will come to an end in their next game. Major sportsbooks open their lines for Week 7 with WVU a home underdog against Iowa State.

WVU Heads Into Showdown with Iowa State as Slight Home Underdog
The Mountaineers and Cyclones are set to kickoff at 8 pm ET on Oct. 12. WVU will debut their new Coal Rush uniform against ISU.
The Saturday night atmosphere will also serve as the backdrop to Iowa State quarterback Rocco Bechtโs father Anthony being honored. Former Mountaineer Anthony Becht was unable to attend his induction into the WVU Sports Hall of Fame and will be honored when his son is in town.
Both WVU and Iowa State are among five remaining undefeated teams in the Big 12 standings. Iowa State sits at 5-0 (2-0, Big 12) after a 43-21 win over Baylor.
