The one player WVU fans have been waiting to hear from about his future has finally revealed his intentions for 2024. Running back Jahiem White will be back as a Mountaineer next season.

“This is crazy! Thank you! Can’t wait to play my next season with WV!,” said White as the caption to a post with a graphic about his status as an All-American.

Even though other key players, most notably quarterback Garrett Greene, wide receiver Taylon Ray, tight end Kole Taylor have expressed their plans to remain at West Virginia, keeping White was clearly a top priority for WVU.

White emerged as a star throughout his freshman season in 2023. He led the country in rushing yards for a freshman with 842. His 8.2 yards per carry made him a threat to bust a big run at any time.

The sky could very well be the limit for the three-star recruit turned college football sensation as a Mountaineer.
