TJ Crandall’s move east is now complete. The WVU football program announced the signing of the Colorado State transfer defensive back Friday morning.

It’s believed Crandall picked the Mountaineers over staying on the west side of the country and going to UCLA. Instead of staying out west, the Colorado State transfer decided to move to the other side of the country and join the WVU secondary.

Crandall, who visited WVU soon after revealng his intentions to transfer, also received offers from Arkansas, Arizona State, Cal, Cincinnati, Indiana, Louisville, Michigan State, NC State, Oregon State, Purdue, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, and Wisconsin.

In 2023 with Colorado State, Crandall recorded 19 tackles, two pass breakups, and an interception. He has three years left of eligibility.
