Current and Former WVU Basketball Players React to Larry Harrison Firing

Following WVU associate head coach Larry Harrison’s abrupt dismissal from the men’s basketball team on Thursday, many current and former players under Harrison took their thoughts to social media.

Joe Toussaint: “Will always be my coach. Stay strong coach, love always.”

Josiah Davis: “Forever thankful for what you’ve done for me and my game coach. Love you coach.”

Harrison spent the last 13 seasons as the associate head coach at West Virginia, 24th with Bob Huggins. Harrison was a part of Huggins’ coaching staff at Cincinnati as well.

WVU men’s basketball will conduct an immediate search for Harrison’s replacement.

West Virginia currently sits at a 10-6 (0-4 Big 12) record. WVU will travel to Norman, Ok. and take on Oklahoma on Saturday at noon as they look to win their first conference game.
