Does Texas’ Dominating Win Over Oklahoma Change Feelings About WVU’s Loss to Longhorns?
Understanding that it doesn’t really matter since the past is done and West Virginia has a lot of work ahead to climb out of a 2-3 (0-2) whole this season, but Texas’ annihilation of Oklahoma does bring up a question for WVU fans.
Does seeing the Longhorns beat the Sooners 49-0 make you feel any better about Texas’ 38-20 victory over the Mountaineers in Austin last Saturday night? Texas is a team with only 2 losses on the season – one by a singe point to Alabama and another to Texas Tech the week before playing WVU.

Prior to the game against WVU, we asked if facing a hungry coming off of a loss made fans feel any type of way about the matchup, but it’s also now fair to ask if that loss to Texas Tech was more of an aberration and the Longhorns are closer to being “back” than some people may want to admit.
