JMU Transfer Catcher Commits to WVU Baseball
Steve Sabins and his WVU baseball staff secured another new catcher with the commitment of Creed Erdos on Saturday evening.
Erdos comes to West Virginia from James Madison. At JMU, Erdos played in eight games and started five as a true freshman.
He hit .286 with a double and three RBI in 14 at-bas while also throwing out four runners attempting to steal a base.
Erdos is already familiar with the region around Morgantown. A native of nearby Cranberry Township, Pa, he attended Seneca Valley High School as a three-time WPIAL All-Conference selection.
