Kentucky DL Transfer Visits WVU Football Program

WVU Football transfer recruit DL Tomiwa Durojaiye

The WVU football program hosted Kentucky transfer defensive lineman Tomiwa Durojaiye.

A tweet by Durojaiye with images of him in a West Virginia uniform confirms that he visited the Mountaineers. Durojaiye decided to transfer from Kentucky on April 26 after a redshirt freshman season in 2022.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 278 pounds, Durojaiye has four years of eligibility. He appeared in three games for the Wild Cats during the 2022 season.

The Middletown, Delaware native was classified as a three-star recruit in the 2022 class out of Middletown High School. To put what Durojaiye was thought of as a recruit into perspective, he was ranked as the number 42 defensive end in the nation by Rivals.

Defensive line is a position WVU football head coach Neal Brown brought up while discussing what West Virginia is searching for in the Transfer Portal.
