List: Dates Scheduled for WVU Basketball Visits This Fall

WVU Basketball will host groups of visitors starting this weekend as they look to fill out the home football games. Let’s take a look at who West Virginia’s staff has scheduled so far.

Sept. 16

Naas Cunningham, 2024 4-star F

Cunningham (6-foot-7) once was No. 1 in his class back in 2022. Cunningham has received offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Bryant, UConn, Creighton, DePaul, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Maryland, Memphis, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Rutgers, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech, UCLA and others. Cunningham has visited Memphis and Rutgers so far.

Cunningham played for Overtime Elite this past season, averaging 14.4 points, 2.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals in 30.2 minutes. WVU’s staff watched Cunningham in-person last weekend, extending an offer too.

Chance Mallory, 2025 4-star G

Mallory (5-foot-9), a native of Charlottesville, Va., received an offer from West Virginia back in May. WVU assistant DerMarr Johnson made direct contact with Mallory on the first day of the contacting period and has been in touch throughout the summer.

Mallory currently plays at St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Virginia, as he is wrapping up his sophomore year there. Mallory also plays AAU ball for Team Thrill, which is run by current Toronto Raptors guard Will Barton. Mallory has received offers from ButlerLiberty, Maryland, NJIT, Radford, Seton Hall, UCF, Virginia, VCU, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others. Mallory has visited Liberty, Maryland, Virginia and Virginia Tech so far.

Mallory averaged 17.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.2 steals during his sophomore year at STAB.

Oct. 21

Carmelo Adkins, 2024 CG

Adkins (6-foot-5) is a combo guard originally from Keller, Texas. Adkins has received offers from Bryant, Holy Cross and West Virginia. Adkins reclassified from 2023 to 2024 for his postgraduate year at PHHoenix Prep OTE.

Jinup Dobuol, 2024 3-star F

Dobuol (6-foot-8) is a three-star prospect from Saint Paul, Minn. Dobuol has picked up offers from Bethune-Cookman, Northern Arizona, Ole Miss, Portland, UCSB, West Virginia and Wichita State. Dobuol is visiting Arizona State this weekend.

Gob Gob, Hill College (JUCO) G

Gob (6-foot-3) currently plays at Hill College. Over the summer, Gob received offers from Cleveland State and Kansas City. Gob is visiting Cleveland State on Sept. 29.

Jeremiah Green, 2025 4-star G

Green (6-foot-3) is a prospect from Denton, Texas who now plays at Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas. Green has received offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Maryland, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, Rice, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech, Troy, USC, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others. Green has visited Houston, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and TCU so far.

Green averaged 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.1 steals during his 71 games at Denton High School. As a freshman, Green appeared in all 36 games for the Wildcats.
