Local Athlete Noah Braham Commits to West Virginia

Published

Wear Virginia football’s second of four commits on the day is local athlete Noah Braham (6-foot-3, 225-pounds).

Braham was previously listed as a tight-end on 247Sports but is now listed as a linebacker. He also plays defensive end.

West Virginia was Braham’s only division-I offer according to 247Sports while his Twitter also shows a division-II offer from Mercyhurst and interest from Marshall. He is a local recruit from University High School in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was offered just three days ago.

Braham isn’t rated on any of the four major recruiting services making him the first commitment of West Virginia’s 2023 class to not receive at least a three-star from one of the four major outlets (247Sports, ESPN, On3, Rivals).

Braham is the second of four commitments that head coach Neal Brown signaled that his team landed in a tweet sent out earlier. As of this writing, Braham and linebacker Ben Cutter are the only two that are known to the public.

Assuming all four commitments are in the class of 2023, then that brings the class total to 16. West Virginia landed two recruits yesterday as well, but tight-end Will Dixon reclassified to the class of 2022.
