West Virginia’s great recruiting day continues as 2023 WR Tory Johnson Jr. has committed to play for the Mountaineers. Johnson becomes the third commitment of the day for Neal Brown and his coaching staff.

Johnson made the announcement official on his Twitter.

“Country Roads I’m Home,” Johnson wrote.

Johnson, a Chesapeake, VA, native visited West Virginia on Thursday. Johnson received offers from Buffalo, East Carolina, Maryland, Pitt and Virginia. The Mountaineer commit also visited Virginia Tech and Penn State in summer 2021.

Johnson joins ATH Noah Braham and LB Ben Cutter as the WVU commits for Saturday. Brown has hinted that there will be another commit coming soon.
