Mountaineers offer 2020 defensive end from Georgia

This week, West Virginia extended an offer to 2020 Augusta (GA) defensive lineman and pass rusher Simeon Barrow Jr.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Barrow was excited about the offer stating, “West Virginia is a really hardworking, well-earning program and a great school overall.”

This defensive line prospect has the all the tools to develop into a really good player at the collegiate level. He dominates the line of scrimmage and gets his hands off the ground quick. Once he gets to the next level and fills out his frame, he can become a very well-rounded edge rusher who can also plug up the run game.

At the moment, there are no favorites to land Barrow’s services, but he did inform me that he will “definitely” take a visit to Morgantown after talking with defensive coordinator Vic Koenning.

“I feel like our conversation went pretty good. He talked to me about a lot of meaningful stuff and also mentioned how he saw me play before and how I improved tremendously,” Barrow said.

Barrow also holds offers from Missouri, Michigan State, Georgia Southern, East Carolina, UAB, West Georgia, Tulane, Cincinnati, Liberty and Florida International.
