West Virginia’s win steak will end at two games, according to oddsmakers. Despite back-to-back wins over Houston and Colorado, most major sportsbooks believe WVU will lose this weekend.

DraftKings has the Mountaineers as a 11.5-point underdog at the open of the week while FanDuel has placed a +10.5 spread on Rich Rodriguez’s team.

On the bright side for West Virginia, Scotty Fox completed 60.7% of his passes, threw for 200 yards with a touchdown and ran for 58 more yards in a 29-22 win over the Buffaloes.

Even after consecutive wins, WVU is 4-6 and 2-5 in the Big 12, needing to win out in order to become bowl eligible.

However, the defending Big 12 champion Arizona State Sun Devils will surely pose a tough challenge. Arizona State, 6-3 overall and 4-2 within the conference, is coming off a bye week.
