One of the running backs that the Mountaineers coaching staff is in pursuit of is class of 2020 speedster Kolbe Burrell (5’9″ 190 lbs) of St. Joseph’s HS/Philadelphia, PA.

Burrell was quick to note his experience during the spring game and his thoughts on the new uniforms, “Visit was great. Loved the atmosphere and the new gray uni was fire! They said there was 20k at the spring game, so I’m just looking forward to getting back out there when the season starts so I can soak up the whole game day experience.” he stated.

He also went into detail on his relationship with his lead recruiter, coach Scott and the rest of the coaching staff. “I spoke with coach Brown and coach Scott after the game. Coach Scott and I talked a little ball – I learn something new every time we talk, he’s a great teacher.” he said. “This time it was practice with habits everyday that enable you to be your best when your best is needed. I wrote that down so I could remember it everyday. You see the coaches in action, how they react to mistakes and how they make decisions. It gave me a better idea of what the environment will be like coming to WVU.” he added.
