A former Mountaineer and West Virginia native is now available on the coaching market. Clint Trickett has been fired as offensive coordinator at Marshall.

Prior to arriving at Marshall, Trickett spent several years as a coach with FAU. He called being hired by Marshall as “coming home” in 2021.
Clint Trickett began his playing career at Florida State before transferring to WVU, where he wrapped up a solid career in 2014. From there, the son of longtime college assistant coach Rick Trickett and brother of former WVU tight ends coach Travis Trickett got his start in coaching at East Mississippi Community College — where he was featured on the Netflix documentary series Last Chance U.
As a Mountaineer, Trickett threw for 4,890 yards and 25 touchdowns in two seasons.
