Florida State transfer Jeremiah Bembry is scheduled to visit West Virginia starting on Friday, a source tells WV Sports Now. Bembry is a 6-foot-6 guard with four years of eligibility remaining.

Bembry was medically redshirted at Florida State during his freshman season. Bembry entered the transfer portal on April 20 and has had a quiet recruitment since. West Virginia is seemingly in the driver’s seat with a visit to Morgantown this weekend.

From Bembry’s bio at FSU:

West Virginia also reached out to Memphis transfer Malcolm Dandridge on Wednesday night. Dandridge has played four years at Memphis under Penny Hardaway, committing from the class of 2019 as a four-star prospect. Dandridge appeared in 20 games this past season averaging 5.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 14.5 minutes per game. Dandridge shot 58 percent from the field.

The Mountaineers currently have eight players on roster as of July 6 with five spots to fill: RaeQuan Battle (G), Jesse Edwards (C), Josiah Harris (F), Kobe Johnson (G), Kerr Kriisa (G), Omar Silverio (G), Patrick Suemnick (F) and Seth Wilson (G).
