Top 2021 running back considers WVU a top program

Last week, top class of 2021 running back Johnny Martin (5’8″, 195 lbs) of Highland Regional High School in Blackwood, New Jersey received an offer from West Virginia co-offensive coordinator Chad Scott.

Martin also holds offers from Rutgers, Syracuse, Baylor and Temple with no school leading the recruitment at the moment.

Coach Scott and Martin’s relationship is just getting started, but they have already discussed a visit which he plans on taking in the next few week for junior day.

When asked what he thinks of West Virginia he responded, “A top program that could win a natty.”

Martin is looking for a school that can be “a perfect fit to achieve my goal of playing pro and just a family atmosphere.”
