Edwards enters the transfer portal for his fifth and final season of college basketball. The Netherlands native averaged 14.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game this past season for Basketball Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim. Edwards produces all of his offense in the paint, shooting at 59 percent from the field.

Edwards entered the transfer portal early Tuesday morning, hearing from many Power-5 programs. West Virginia’s staff contacted Edwards immediately, scheduling a visit that same day. Kansas nor Gonzaga have scheduled any visit with Edwards. The Jayhawks will host Michigan big man Hunter Dickinson starting next week.
