Watch: Former Mountaineer Rasul Douglas Gifts Packers Christmas Win with Pick

Just one week after almost costing his team after an interception, former Mountaineer Rasul Douglas seals a win with another.
Douglas picked off Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in the final minutes of the Packers 26-20 win over Miami on Christmas Day. Unlike last week when Douglas tried to extend the return gained from a pick and lateral the ball to a teammate, the West Virginia product just went down and made sure to secure possession.

Douglas’ pick derailed Miami’s comeback attempt and opportunity to win the game with a touchdown and an extra point. He also had three tackles in the game. Green Bay has now won three straight, keeping their playoff hopes alive at 7-8.
After a stellar college career that included being a first team All-Big 12 in 2016 thanks to recording eight interceptions, Douglas was drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Eagles. Douglas spent two seasons at West Virginia after transferring from a community college. He’s in his second season with Green Bay after bouncing around the NFL since departing Philadelphia following the 2019 season. Douglas earned a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl LII.
