West Virginia-Baylor Game Time and Channel Announced

Published

There’s no time to dwell upon the Oklahoma loss for West Virginia as the Big 12 schedule kicks into full gear in the coming weeks. Texas Tech is up next on the schedule, and an away game at Baylor officially has a game time and channel.

The Mountaineers will travel to Waco, Texas on Saturday, Oct. 9 for a noon kickoff against No. 21 Baylor. The contest will be broadcast nationally on FS1 with the commentary crew to be announced at a later date.

A 12 p.m. kickoff continues a season in which WVU has bounced around Saturday kickoffs. With a 3:30 p.m. kickoff against Texas Tech this week, the Mountaineers will have played one at noon, twice at 3:30, once at 5 p.m. and once at 7:30 p.m. this season. Aside from the Long Island University game, all four games will have been broadcast on national television.

Baylor will offer a surprisingly stiff challenge for the Mountaineers. The Bears are 4-0, coming off an upset of then-No. 14 Iowa State, and will have another tough test against No. 19 Oklahoma State.
