West Virginia has contacted Saint Louis transfer guard Gibson Jimerson, he tells 24/7 High School Hoops. Jimerson, a 6-foot-5 guard, entered the transfer portal on March 21.

Jimerson has heard from Clemson, Colorado, DePaul, Georgetown, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Memphis, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pitt, Providence, Texas A&M, UCLA, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Washington, West Virginia and others since entering the transfer portal.

Jimerson averaged 15.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists through 33 games for the Billikens. Jimerson shot 40% from the field, 36% from three and 86% from the free throw line. Jimerson was also named to the Atlantic-10 Third All-Conference Team this past season. The Richmond, Va. native appeared in 132 games for SLU, scoring over 1,800 points in five years. Jimerson has had 14 games of five or more three-pointers during his career.

Jimerson has one year of eligibility remaining.

WVU has landed one transfer commitment in Tucker DeVries so far this offseason while losing just Seth Wilson (G) so far. The Mountaineers also plan on hosting Conor Enright (G – Drake) and Toby Okani (F – UIC) for visits this month.
