West Virginia to Host Transfer Toby Okani for Visit

UIC wing Toby Okani will be visiting West Virginia from April 12-14, he tells Joe Tipton of On3 Sports.

Okani is also visiting St. Bonaventure (April 1-2) and LSU (April 19-21) throughout the next few weeks.

Okani (6-foot-8) averaged 11.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.0 blocks through 33 games. Okani shot 39% from the field, 32% from three and 57% from the free throw line.

Okani has one year of eligibility remaining. The Orange, Nj. native entered the transfer portal while considering the NBA Draft.

West Virginia has another visit scheduled for Drake guard Conor Enright at some time next week, he told WV Sports Now. 

Enright (6-foot) averaged 6.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 33 starts for the Bulldogs. Enright shot 44% from three this past season and had multiple games with four or more three-pointers.

Enright, a sophomore, has two years of eligibility remaining.

WVU HC Darian DeVries announced during his introductory press conference that his son, Tucker, would be joining him at West Virginia, transferring from Drake. Tucker DeVries is the first transfer commitment for the Mountaineers this offseason.

Okani began his career at Duquesne for his first two seasons.
