West Virginia football has opened as a six-point underdog against UCF for their week nine matchup in Orlando, Fl. The Mountaineers are looking to snap a two-game losing streak as UCF is still searching for their first Big 12 win in program history.

This past weekend, WVU fell to Oklahoma State at home 48-34. West Virginia started out 4-1 but have dropped their previous two games to Houston and OSU. UCF began the season 3-0 but hasyet to win a Big 12 game this season, losing to Kansas State, Baylor, Kansas and Oklahoma. The Knights did take Oklahoma down to the wire in Norman, 31-29.

West Virginia and UCF have faced twice all-time, with the Mountaineers winning both matchups. WVU defeated UCF in Orlando back in 2004, 45-20, in their last head-to-head game.

UCF will host West Virginia at FBC Mortgage Stadium on Oct. 28 with a noon kickoff. FS1 will provide the coverage on TV for the game.
