Update (1:50 p.m.) –
West Virginia has offered four-star defensive lineman Xavier Porter (6-foot-4, 250-pounds). He’s a four-star recruit on Rivals and On3, but 247Sports has him as a three-star. They’re composite rankings though, which is based on what the consensus is saying about a recruit, have him as a four-star.
Porter comes from Tampa Catholic High School in Tampa, Florida. West Virginia is his 13th offer following Ball State, Coastal Carolina, Florida Atlantic, FIU, Florida State, Iowa State, Louisville, Marshall, NC State, Wake Forest, USF and UCF.
