BREAKING: Walk-On Spencer Macke Returns to WVU

After entering the transfer portal in July, West Virginia basketball walk-on Spencer Macke will return to the team for the 2021-22 season.

Macke confirmed rumors on Twitter on Wednesday night.

Macke—alongside former walk-on Jay Moore—both entered the transfer portal last month due to room on the team. Now, Macke will return to the team as the assistant to the strength coach this season.

Macke provided memorable moments like this his freshman year.
