A new trailer for the latest installment of the NBA 2K video game series was released online early Friday, and it contained a pleasant surprise for fans of West Virginia University basketball.

In NBA 2K21’s “MyCAREER” mode you create a player and take them from high school to the NBA — with a college stop along the way. Friday’s trailer revealed some of the schools that will be available for players to choose from, and WVU was among those featured in the video.

The Mountaineers are one of three Big 12 schools featured in the trailer, along with Texas Tech and Oklahoma. Michigan State, Connecticut, Gonzaga, Syracuse, Villanova, UCLA and Florida were also shown.

NBA 2K21 is scheduled for release on September 4 for on PlayStation 4, XBox One, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android and Google Stadia.
