WVU Football Goes Back to Classics for Week 4 Uniform Reveal
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The WVU Football team unveiled its Week 4 uniforms for this Saturday’s road game at the No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners. A classic white jersey and blue pant combination is complimented by the ever-popular blue helmets. The Mountaineers have gone 20-11 in these, including last season’s regular season finale 42-6 road loss in Ames, Ia at the hands of the Iowa State Cyclones. This is the team’s fourth most popular color combination since 2001, behind blue/gold, blue/blue, and white/white.

The 2-1 Mountaineers will don this combination and venture to Norman, Ok. to take on the 3-0 Sooners at 7:30 p.m. EST on ABC. This is the Mountaineers’ first night game of the season. The Sooners lead the series 10-2 and are hoping for another 52-14 Mountaineer smackdown like 2019’s battle in Norman.
