WVU Football Going Against Several Major Programs for WSU Transfer DB

Washington State transfer defensive back Stephen Hall announced he received an offer from the WVU football program on Friday.

West Virginia is one of several major programs to offer Hall this week. Hall revealed offers from Houston and Virginia Tech on Thursday night as his most recent before the one from the Mountaineers.

Hall spent the last two years at Washington State after transferring to the Cougars from a junior college. He initially started his junior college career in 2020.

In 2024, Hall recorded 45 total tackles, a couple pass deflections and an interception. He made 65 total tackles during his time at Washington State.

Missouri, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, UNLV and USC have also sent offers to Hall.

Hall would bring experience to a new WVU staff looking to repair a secondary that was a big problem for the 2024 Mountaineers.
