WVU Football Makes Big Move in Offering Highly Coveted 2026 Georgia 4-Star

West Virginia made a big recent move for a highly coveted cornerback. The WVU football staff joined several other major programs in offering four-star Georgia product Blake Stewart.
A 2026 recruit out of Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Ga., Stewart (6-foot-1, 170 pounds) posted about his WVU offer being one of many recent ones on Friday. Duke, Kentucky, Big Ten blue blood Michigan, Nebraska, Purdue and Wake Forest also sent Stewart offers within the past five days.

He was also visited by a Pitt coach and took a trip to check out Florida during the week as well.
Stewartโs growing popularity in offers coincides with where he stands on most national recruiting platforms. Heโs a consensus four-star player and ranked as high as the No. 8 Georgia prospect by Rivals.
Stewart is mostly viewed as a safety at the college level, but has experience on both sides of the ball as a defensive back and wide receiver in high school. He even shows off his true athleticism as a track star.
For another notable big brand getting in on Stewart, Clemson extended an offer of their own on Jan. 16.
