WVU Football Shows Interest in Georgia State Transfer WR

The Mountaineers sent an offer to a player at a position of need Tuesday morning. WVU Football offered transfer wide receiver out of Georgia State.

Robert Lewis made 70 receptions for 877 yards and scored seven touchdowns during the 2023 season.

Auburn, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Indiana, Liberty, Mississippi State and Pitt are programs who have also shown interest in Lewis. He has one year left of eligibility.

West Virginia looked to Georgia State for a player last offseason, adding kicker Michael Hayes. And Hayes showed his former teammate love on social media when he noticed his current team sent him an offer.
