The WVU football staff continues to look at one particular high school in Alabama, sending another offer to a top recruit out of Enterprise High School on Friday.

West Virginia sent its latest offer to Eric Winters, a class of 2025 defensive back. Winters posted about his WVU offer on X (Twitter), adding a “AGTG” hashtag, which stands for “All Glory to God.”

Winters is listed on the bigger side for a defensive back at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, causing most to view him as a college safety. He owns a four-star rating from recruiting outlets ESPN, Rivals, On3 Sports and 247 Sports, earning his most favorable ranking as the No. player in Alabama from On3.

Some outlets classify Winters as an athlete since he plays both offense and defense in high school. He’s even a multi-sport athlete and also plays basketball.

The most recent offer Winters posted prior to West Virginia about came from Penn State on April 25. But no matter what his social media says, Winters is already a popular recruit drawing interest from major programs like Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Houston, Louisville, LSU, Miami (FL), Michigan, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, USC and Wisconsin among others across the country.

WVU also extended an offer to Winters’ high school teammate Zion Grady earlier on the same day.
