WVU Football Jumps in Frenzy for 2025 4-Star Alabama Edge
The WVU football staff has been focusing on recruiting edge rushers in recent weeks, sending their latest offer to a class of 2025 four-star.
Zion Grady announced his West Virginia offer on X (Twitter) on Friday morning, adding the Mountaineers to his growing list. Grady, who lists himself at 6-foot-4 and 242 pounds, granted most outlets size him at 225 pounds, attends Enterprise High School in Troy, Ala.

Grady was named to the 2025 All-American Bowl and has offers from major programs, including both Alabama and Auburn within his home state. In addition to those two schools and WVU, Grady also has offers from Florida State, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Houston, Louisville, LSU, Miami (FL), Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas and many others.
He just returned from a visit to Ohio State on May 5. Most of these schools have been heavily recruiting Grady for over a year, with his initial Alabama offer coming back in June of 2022.
Grady is ranked as a top 10 prospect in Alabama in ESPN, Rivals, On3 Sports and 247 Sports. Each outlet also ranks him inside the top 100 overall players in his class nationally.
