MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Oct. 23 games, WVU vs. TCU, Oklahoma vs. Kansas, Kansas State vs. Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State, were all set to be decided using a six-day selection. Following the Big 12 Conference’s Oct. 16, Week 7 games, each of the aforementioned four would get housed accordingly. Now, the games officially have broadcast times and channels.

The 12 p.m. EST slot on ESPN now belongs to the Sooners and Jayhawks.

The 12 p.m. slot on FS1 belongs to the Wildcats and Red Raiders.

The 3:30 p.m. slot on FOX will be filled by the Cowboys and Cyclones.

The primetime 7:30 p.m. slot on ESPNU will feature the Mountaineers and Horned Frogs.

This is WVU’s second night game of the season. The first, a tough 16-13 loss in Norman, Ok. to the then-No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners, dealt the Mountaineers the program’s sixth night game loss under head coach Neal Brown’s 20 opportunities. The good news is that Brown has lit a fire under his players in the games following BYE weeks, registering 16-11 when his team has more than a week to prepare. These two teams, each clawing back from a losing streak, stand in the middle of the Big 12 rankings, but WVU is on a three-game winning streak against the Horned Frogs.

WVU (2-4) and TCU (3-3) will throw down, in Fort Worth, for the series’ 11th meeting on Oct. 23; WVU currently leads the match-up 6-4.
