Where ‘Eeeer they now???

It wasn’t long ago that Skyler Howard led WVU to a 10-3 record, threw for 3,000 yards and combined for 36 touchdowns (26 passing/10 rushing) at WVU, today he is dominating in the Japanese X-League.

Following life after WVU, the journey hasn’t been easy for Howard.

Before Howard shined in Japan, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Seahawks.  A month later, he was waived by the team.  He then tried his luck in the CFL and was signed to the Toronto Argonauts. A month after signing with the Argonauts, Howard was released from their practice squad which would put him in a tough situation trying to latch onto a team.  In 2018, he took his talents way across sees to play for the Obic Seagulls of Japan. In his first season with the Seagulls, Howard led them to the Pearl Bowl (the super bowl of the X-League) and won 28-2.  Howard was honored with the Pearl Bowl MVP trophy.
