Morgantown, WV – In the weekly WVU football press conference, head coach Neal Brown gave the media an update on some of the injuries from last weeks game vs North Carolina State.

Starting with the offensive line, the Mountaineers were without two of their starters against the Wolfpack. Oddly enough, the unit played much better with three guys making their first career starts (James Gmiter, Briason Mays, John Hughes). It is possible that both Brown and Sills could return this week vs Kansas. “Mike [Brown] should be available this week. Josh [Sills] we’re unsure on, we’ll have to wait until later in the week,” Brown stated.

Coach Brown also noted that he is hopeful that wide receiver Sean Ryan will be available this week. Ryan participated in team activities yesterday and will be a partial participant today. Junior corner Dreshun Miller is still ruled out and is continuing to come back from an injury.
