Bob Huggins Has Not Heard Anything From the Big 12 After Displeasures on Monday

As WVU head coach Bob Huggins met with the media on Friday morning, Huggins was asked if he had heard anything from the Big 12 Conference about his displeasures on the incident with Taz Sherman on Monday night against Baylor. Sherman was inadvertently struck on the side of the head by Baylor’s Jeremy Sochan, leaving him laying on the ground with playing continuing.

Huggins submitted a displeasure about how the situation was handled, but to no response.

“No, I have not [heard anything],” Huggins said.

After the game on Monday, Huggins said as much as he could say without getting in trouble.

“I’m not sure what to say. We got a guy in laying there with a concussion,” WVU head coach Bob Huggins said on the postgame radio show. “He’s dribbling the ball and he gets a concussion and they don’t even stop the play.”

On Thursday, Huggins announced that Sherman is in concussion protocol and that he hasn’t practiced all week.
