WVU Kicker Evan Staley Announces He Will Return for a Sixth Season
West Virginia placekicker Evan Staley announced on Twitter Tuesday evening that he will be returning to WVU for a sixth season in 2021.

Staley has been the Mountaineers’ kicker for four seasons since redshirting in 2016. He has converted on 39 of 53 field goals in his career (73.6%) with a long of 49 in 2018. He walked-on at WVU from Hampshire High School in Romney, West Virginia in 2016 and earned a scholarship prior to his junior season.
Staley suffered season-ending injuries each of the last two seasons, being replaced by Casey Legg to end each season. He made 6 of 9 field-goal attempts this season, with a long of 45.
