Here we go again. West Virginia football continues to lose players to the transfer portal. On Friday afternoon, WVU linebacker Josh Chandler-Semedo entered the transfer portal. It was first reported by Rivals.

Chandler-Semedo spent four seasons at West Virginia, coming to Morgantown when former head coach Dana Holgorsen was at the helm. The Canton, Ohio, native recorded 260 total tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, three interceptions and three forced fumbles in 44 career games for the Mountaineers.

Chandler-Semedo will leave Morgantown with one year of eligibility left due to him opting into his COVID year. West Virginia continues to lose defensive players after the contract extensions of defensive coordinator Jordan Lesley and assistant coaches.
