West Virginia senior linebacker Tony Fields II has accepted an invitation to play in this year’s Reese’s Senior Bowl

Fields transferred to WVU in August after playing three seasons at the University of Arizona. In his first season with the Mountaineers, Fields leads the entire Big 12 conference with 79 total tackles this season. He also has three tackles for loss, one sack, an interception and three passes defended this season.

WVU football coach Neal Brown called Fields WVU’s “train stopper” earlier this season.

Fields and WVU defensive tackle Darius Stills both received invitations to this season’s senior bowl. Offensive tackle Colton McKivitz was the only Mountaineer to attend the senior bowl last season.

This season’s senior bowl will be played on Jan. 30, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama.
