WVU Makes Jab at Pitt in Adding 412 New Mobile Passes

WVU Athletics makes 412 new 304 Mobile Passes available for purchase ahead of the 2025 football season.

The 412 extra tickets are a jab at Pitt, a reference to the school’s area code. “If they want to stay at home, then we want to see you here!,” said WVU.

The 304 Mobile Pass allows fans to pay just over $300 for a randomized seat for every regular season home football game. The seats will either be in the upper levels or in the south end zone section.

As tickets have flown off the shelves for the 2025 season, the 412 extra seats are opportunities for more WVU fans to attend games.

The 304 Mobile Passes were first made available May 21 of this year. Fans can purchase up to four passes and must be bought in one transaction to ensure the seats are together.

Tickets are sent to fans as a link in an email and the exact seat locations are provided approximately 48 hours ahead of each game.
